Applicants should have attained the B 1 level before applying for this course. The purpose of the course is to have the learners understand the main ideas of complex discussions on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his or her field of specialisation. They should be able to interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Should be able to make clear detailed conversations on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
